The Badger Herald
While attending UW-Madison, I worked as a managing editor for The Badger Herald. I also worked here as a science news associate editor, science news reporter and copy editor. Check out my writing here. Below is an edition containing my feature story. I designed this edition — along with several others — on my own.
Clean Energy in Madison
During my first semester in the UW School of Journalism and Mass Communication, I worked on a large reporting project I called Clean Energy in Madison. Though it is some of my earliest reporting, I am still proud of the work I completed. Check it out here.
School of the New York Times Summer Academy
When I attended the School of the New York Times, I enrolled in a Food, Creative Writing and Pop Music course. I learned from professional journalists and music executives in New York City, and this experience ignited my passion for journalism. Below are my two favorite pieces I wrote during my time in New York.
During my time at The Dish, I was a community editor and a writer. I love writing about food and the people behind a dish. Below is one issue I’m especially proud of.
